"Helping people with disabilities open doors to a more independent life"

VISION

WRILC shall be committed to promoting a philosophy of independent living, which includes a philosophy of consumer control, peer support, self-help, self-determination, equal access and individual systems advocacy, in order to maximize the leadership, empowerment, independence, and productivity of individuals with disabilities.

MISSION

WRILC will assist people with disabilities to be as independent as they wish. We work to fully integrate them into the mainstream of society so they may have the same choices and opportunities to contribute to society as any other person without a disability. We assist in breaking down barriers in the community by providing disability awareness, education, and advocacy.

WRILC is looking for more Board Members.

Are you interested in helping people with disabilities?

Wrilc is looking for skilled, enthusiastic members of the community to serve on the agency’s Board of Directors as Volunteers.
We want people with diverse experiences, perspectives, skills, and connections, particularly people with disabilities. This helps to ensure that our mission and programming are developed from a peer perspective

Our Board meets six (6) times per year.
