What We Do

We are one of eleven Centers for Independent Living in the state of Ohio, which assists people with disabilities, of all ages, to get the services they need. We are a non-profit, 501-C-3, non-residential, cross-disability organization. We provide information and referrals, peer support, advocacy, independent living skills, transition(both youth and nursing home), and emergency preparedness services.

SILC Seeks Council Members

The Ohio Statewide Independent Living Council (OSILC) is recruiting new members for its 11 member body.  Members are appointed by the governor for three-yesr terms on a voluntary basis.  A majority of the members must be people with disabilities.
